Aim: To study the effectiveness of Bellovac ABT as an alternative to homologous blood transfusion
Method: Data from 36 patients receiving Bellovac ABT were compared to data from a retrospective baseline audit.
Conclusion: The practice of re-infusing salvaged blood using bellovac ABT is a clinically effective alternative to giving autologous blood.
